गुरु और माता-पिता की पूजा एवं सेवा-शुश्रुषा का यहाँ जो विधान बनाया था, वह भी व्यवहार का उच्चतम नमूना ही माना जा सकता है। महात्मा गांधी ने इंदौर के एक बड़े अधिवेशन में प्रतिपादित करते हुए कहा था - ''मैं आप लोगों से यह कहने आया हूँ कि आप अपनी सभ्यता पर विश्वास करें और उस पर दृढ़ रहें। ऐसा करने से हिंदुस्तान सारे संसार पर साम्राज्य कर लेगा। हम ऐसे देश के रहने वाले हैं, जो अभी तक अपनी प्राचीन सभ्यता पर निर्भर रह सका है।''

The law that was made here for the worship and service of the guru and parents, can also be considered as the highest example of behavior. While propounding it in a big convention in Indore, Mahatma Gandhi had said - "I have come to ask you people to believe in your civilization and stand firm on it. By doing this, India will become an empire over the whole world. We belong to a country which has been able to depend till now on its ancient civilization.
