संपदा

संपदा बाहर है और अंदर भी। इसका दृश्य के साथ, अदृश्य रूप भी है। जो आंतरिक संपदा से रहित होकर बाहर की संपदा को पाने के इच्छुक बने रहते हैं, उन्हें उनकी इच्छाएँ दरिद्र बनाए रखती हैं। भले ही उन्हें बाह्य व दृश्य संपदा कितनी ही क्यों न मिल गई हो, निरंतर माँगने वाले चित्त-केवल भिक्षुक जीवन की ही सृष्टि करता है। समृद्ध तो केवल वही है, जिसकी कोई भी माँग शेष नहीं रह जाती। महर्षि कणाद केवल कण बीनकर अपनी गुजर कर लेते थे इसीलिए उनका नाम कणाद पड़ गया। किसान जब खेत काट लेते थे, तो उसके बाद जो अन्न-कण पड़े रह जाते थे, उन्हें ही बीनकर वे अपना जीवन चलाते थे।

Wealth is outside as well as inside. It has visible as well as invisible form. Those who are devoid of inner wealth and remain desirous of getting outside wealth, their desires keep them poor. No matter how much external and visible wealth they have got, the mind that constantly asks - only the beggar creates life. The rich are only those who have no demand left. Maharishi Kanad used to earn his living only by picking particles, that is why he got the name Kanad. When the farmers used to cut the field, they used to earn their living by picking only the grains and grains that were left after that.
