एकेश्वरवाद
ऋग्वेद (१-१६४-४६) के प्रस्तुत मंत्र में - सत्य एक ही है और उसी सत्य को विद्वज्जन विविध नामों से पुकारते हैं। वेदों में ऐसा एक भी मंत्र नहीं है, जो ईश्वर के अनेक होने की घोषण करता है। एकेश्वरवाद ही वेद की अभिव्यक्ति है। वेद में ईश्वर को 'ब्रम्ह' कहा गया है। अथर्ववेद (१०-८-१) में कहा है जो भुत, भविष्य और सब में व्यापक है, जो दिव्यलोक का भी अधिष्ठता है, उस ब्रम्ह (परमेश्वर) को प्रणाम है। ऋग्वेद (-३-६२-१०) में भी आए गायत्री मंत्र में ईश्वर का स्वरूप कुछ इस प्रकार अभिव्यक्त हुआ है - उस प्राणस्वरूप, दुःखनाशक, सुखस्वरूप, श्रेष्ठ, तेजस्वी, पापनाशक, देवस्वरूप परमात्मा को हम अपनी अंतरात्मा में धारण करे। वह परमात्मा हमारी बुद्धि को सन्मार्ग की ओर प्रेरित करे।
In the present mantra of Rigveda (1-164-46) - Truth is one and the same truth is called by different names by scholars. There is not a single mantra in the Vedas, which declares the existence of God in many ways. Monotheism is the manifestation of the Vedas. In the Vedas, God is called 'Brahma'. It is said in the Atharvaveda (10-8-1) that the one who is pervasive in the past, the future and all, who is also the presiding deity of the divine world, bows to that Brahma (God). The form of God has been expressed in the Gayatri Mantra also in Rigveda (-3-62-10) in this way - We should imbibe in our soul that life-form, sorrow-destroyer, happiness-like, superior, radiant, sin-destroyer, God-form. May that God guide our intellect towards the right path.
